A Delicious Make Your Own Mini Pizza Party

So a while back my friend Ali of Tag Sale Style and her husband of sometimes guest-starring on Tag Sale Style had an amazing housewarming/scotch tasting party. Their house looked awesome, as one would expect of Tag Sale experts, and the scotch was amazing and there were fancy high-tech cooling methods and also a wide variety of scotches. So all of that was really great. And there was delicious and adorably labeled party snacks. The company was also quite wonderful.

But the most amazing part, to me (well, ok, one of the many most amazing parts) was the make your own mini pizza station:

A make your own pizza station--bases, sauces, cheeses, toppings

That's right! A make your own mini pizza *station* with multiple options for bases, cheese, sauces, toppings, and a mini toaster to cook it right there in the party space. Ali used a beautiful secretary desk and decorative serving dishes to make the whole set up elegant and scotch-tasting party worthy. It could definitely be dressed down for a more casual affair, or adjusted to fit various themes. Really, it could have seemed amazing without all the fanciness but the beautiful set up just took it to another level.

This is a very adaptable idea, and now that Ali has introduced the concept of appliance for food station in the living room/party space, I think the possibilities are endless.

  1. The company was the (no competition) best part for me. As a hostess, I have to say I was a fan of the stress-free nature of making people cook their own food. Especially with the wildly different arrival times. People did need to be nudged into making. Thank goodness HusbandFace led the charge.
